SalientPoint

Hemnet has upgraded their site and SalientPoint has been responsible for the integration with Eniro and the maps. As you can see there is some new interesting functionality such as the ability to refine the search on the map page. The screen shot shows the new map page and the new Nautical Cartography.

Robert Aschberg and Gert Fylking on their walk through Sweden to raise funds for the fight against Cancer. The sponsoring Radio RIXFM wanted a way to present their progress online on a map.

The brand new Eniro maps integration API featuring an Atom/GeoRSS consumer and GeoJSON generation, allowed this to happen with zero programming. You can follow Messrs. Aschberg and Fylking here (click into “Promenaden”).

New Eniro maps for hemnet.se

We are currently working for the folks at Eniro on providing new web maps for Hemnet. The first installment of this project has already been released. Take a look at www.hemnet.se.

The benefits are especially apparent when viewing the map in “Oblique” mode, giving the would-be buyer a good feel for the immediate surroundings, the ability to do some digital sightseeing etc. Useful information such as the location of schools, restaurant and municipal services are available at the click of a button.
